Signs of Spring?
If you are travelling between Loogootee and Washington on Hwy. 50 West, you may notice a couple of new billboards! The Daviess-Martin Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (CISMA) has partnered with the Dubois County Invasive Species Awareness Council (ISAC) to utilize grant funding for the new signs. The groups have been working to bring awareness to and educate the public on the impacts that invasive species have on both the environment and the economy. Read more about the species featured on the billboards by clicking on the images. For more information, you can also contact the SWCD.
